We don't need GMOs in order to see increases

Those supporting these science experiments have assured that a larger amount of food is created when they are involved in crop production1. Higher production levels = higher availability of food at the store. Advantages are:
· You won’t run out of your favorites
· When you’re rushing to the store in your busy day, the store will have what you need at the time you need it
Many still hold confidence in the world’s original methods of
growing crops though. Actually, GMOs are overrated in their ability to improve production levels:
“It is a myth that mechani[z]ed, chemical, GMO agriculture maximi[z]es yield per hectare”.
“Numerous studies show that when organic agriculture is practi[c]ed well, it can bring double or triple
the yields of conventional techniques [and] [w]ith intensive intercropping on mixed permaculture farms,
yields can be higher still”5 (emphasis added).
A benefit of this would be a grower’s closer connection with their own crops, thus improving the quality of the food we buy, instead of allowing scientists to come in and change the way successful agriculture has worked for years and years.
